IT’S HERE – BRIGHT SPOTS EPISODE 1

MAKE YOUR OWN CLAY MANDALAS!  We all are sad about not being able to have Camp this summer, so Grace Art Camp has a gift for you!  “Bright Spots” – short videos led by our artists to inspire fun and creativity for you and your families. Each Wednesday through late August look for a new episode. We hope today’s video project starter led by Grace Art Camp Artist Melissa Romeo really encourages you to try this at home! This week’s episode has a great recipe for making cornstarch clay and info for designing your own mandala.

Artist’s Tip:  You can also use chopsticks or toothpicks to apply even round dots.

Supplies:  1/2 cup of cornstarch; 4 oz bottle of Glue; 2 tbsp oil; 1 tbsp lemon juice; wax paper; mixing bowl; spatula or spoon; acrylic paint (leftovers from a craft kit work great!); small paintbrush
