Join us for Grace Institute’s Seasonal Art Classes during weekends this December 2023. We’re offering Adult & Children’s classes in fibre arts, mixed media, fused glass and more! These will be in-person, hands-on studio art classes taught by Grace Institute teaching artists.

Dove Peace Catcher Ornament

Multimedia Seasonal Landscape Ornaments

Create your own winter (or autumnal!) wonderland using metal mason jar lids, paper, cardstock cutouts, yarn, fabric, paints, and more!  These beautiful ornaments will add a rustic, handmade aesthetic to your home this chilly season.

Sunday, December 3 – 1:30 pm-3:00 pm
Ages: 10 to adult (8 & 9 with an assisting adult)
Cost: $45 per person, $5 per extra ornament (with plastic lid)

Fused Glass Snowscapes
Instructed by Mariann Koop-McMahon

Learn how to “paint” with glass and create your own sparkling, one-of-a-kind winter landscape or snowscape. After firing, your fused glass “painting” may be displayed on a stand. Finished pieces are approximately 6 x 8-inches.  
All materials, including special edition glass, glass paint and frits are included. Prior experience working with glass is helpful. Pick up your fired masterpiece the following week.

Vintage Clothespin Angel Ornaments
Instructed by Luann Rukke

Combine multiple techniques to make adorable angel ornaments using vintage clothespins, lace, yarn, beads, ribbon, and more!  Suitable for a wide range of ages.

Fused Glass “Geo-Animal” Ornament
Instructed by Mariann Koop-McMahon

Create adorable animal ornaments from simple geometric shapes with fused glass. They make great last-minute, personal gifts.  We will brainstorm and provide pattern resources and ideas for you during this 90-minute class.
Two ornaments per participant are included with each registration fee. Additional ornaments cost $10 each, which must be pre-paid by noon the Wednesday before your class.  Pick up your fired pieces the following week.
