SHARING COMPASSION WITH COMMUNITY
Universal stories of compassion in action lead the way into welcoming, discovering, and celebrating the many ways we can cultivate peace and loving kindness, individually and together. Alongside artists and campers this winter season, “be peace” through the process of painting, sewing, storytelling, clay-play, glass fusing, and sculpture; camp will also be creating, in community, a Welcome Blanket for a refugee or immigrant family new to the broader Portland area.
Peace Camp is designed for children in 1st – 7th grades.
