Join us as we explore theatre & storytelling, visual arts, fibre arts, ceramics, puppets, and a few other goodies, while celebrating the nature of springtime and the resilience of the human (and dragon-ish) spirit through the story of The Reluctant Dragon. Using the story as inspiration, campers rotate through two artist-led studios each day, culminating in a community celebration on the last day of camp. Spring Break Camp is designed for children in K – 6th grade.
In this short story by the same author as Wind in the Willow, Kenneth Graham . . . when a fine specimen of a dragon is discovered on the Downs, a child from the village is not in the least bit surprised, having always known about the cave. The child visits the downs every day, knowing “just what to expect”, however this particular dragon is not a bit like the dragons we all know of . . .

Camp Hours: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (gate opens at 8:45 am)
Extended Hours: M -W, 3:00pm – 6:00pm, $60/$10 per hour
Tuition: $210.00 (Campers bring their own sack lunch and water bottle – a morning snack is provided).
